A clinical quality assurance specialist applies informatics expertise to the management of data, processes, and information systems. The strategic goals of this role would be to improve clinical care, clinical documentation, and reporting for treatment, prevention, and drug administration regimens, workflow procedures, medical decision-making practices, and pay-for-performance programs.
